The year 2016 has been a challenging but wonderful year for all of us. However, in spite of all, we were able to rise above the challenges and work together for a common purpose. The team work and the energy with which we have carried out our duties and tasks assigned to us is remarkable. This has resulted in a marked improvement in our output, and for this you are celebrated. As fellows of the Centre, You have all been dedicated in several ways; running short courses, attending meetings, supporting with your ideas and thoughts etc. Your efforts are very much appreciated and it is our wish that this is continued.Â
To our students, we would like to reiterate our joy in having you as part of the Centre. We thank you for comporting yourselves and making this semester a smooth one. If there has been some bottlenecks this year, we trust that our attention will be drawn to for improvement in the coming years. This will ensure that you will have a conducive environment to study and complete your course in time. As we enter a new year, do not lose focus, give much attention to your studies, cooperate with your supervisors and lecturers and work hard at completion.
I thank you so much for your support and it is my pleasure to wish you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2017. Enjoy the Christmas Season and stay safe.
